HEALING HEARTS COLLECTIVE
In-Person Postpartum Support Circles for Moms & Dads
Because healing after birth takes a village. Join our in-person support groups for postpartum moms and dads with children under 5 years old.
What Is Healing Hearts Collective?
The Healing Hearts Collective is a safe, in-person space for postpartum moms and dads to breathe, share, and be supported.
Hosted by Black Mothers In Power (BMIP), these groups bring parents together to talk honestly about life after birth - the joy, the exhaustion, the questions, and the healing. Each session is guided by a licensed therapist and rooted in compassion, culture, and community care.
Whether your baby is a newborn or your child is up to 5 years old, you are still in the thick of postpartum change - and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Who These Groups Are For

* Postpartum moms with a child from birth up to 5 years old

Why Healing Hearts Collective Matters
Postpartum doesn’t end at six weeks.
Many moms and dads are still:
- Managing postpartum depression or anxiety long after the newborn stage
- Struggling with sleep deprivation, stress, or relationship strain
- Carrying unspoken feelings like guilt, fear, or isolation
Having a consistent, in-person community space:
- Reduces isolation
- Supports mental and emotional health
- Strengthens bonding between parent and child
- Helps moms and dads feel seen, heard, and supported
Healing Hearts Collective is part of BMIP’s larger vision for a Maternal Care Center in Delaware - a hub where Black families receive the postpartum care and dignity they deserve.
Meet Your Facilitators
Each support group is led by:
- A licensed therapist with experience in mental health and family support
- BMIP staff or community ambassadors who understand postpartum life and Black maternal health
Our facilitators are here to listen, not judge; to guide, not lecture.
