LaToya Brathwaite-Washington

LaToya Brathwaite-Washington is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in pediatrics and family practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Widener University and her Master of Science in Nursing with an FNP concentration from Chamberlain University

LaToya is the founder and lead clinician of Mother Baby & Beyond LLC (MB&B)- an in-home healthcare practice providing postpartum healthcare, education, and early parenting support to expectant and new mothers and families of children birth to 3. MB&B also provides healthcare through maternal screening and referral to services through community pop-up clinics throughout New Castle County, in partnership with DSAMH.

LaToya also currently serves as a Nurse Consultant for New Castle County Health Services to provide expertise, education, support, and advocacy for the good and well-being of the community of New Castle County and throughout the entire state of Delaware.

Outside of work, her heart belongs to her family. She has two miracle daughters ages 12 and 15 who are her pride and joy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. LaToya also proudly serves on the Board for Black Mothers in Power (BMIP) and as a member of the MCDRC Community Action Team, working tirelessly to improve outcomes for mothers and babies across Delaware.
