BMIP aims to empower Black mothers in Delaware to become leaders and decision-makers in their communities through education, advocacy, and activism.
We recognize that Black mothers have historically faced systemic inequalities and obstacles that have hindered their ability to fully participate and engage in their communities. That's why we're committed to supporting and amplifying the voices of Black mothers, so that we can create lasting change in their neighborhoods and beyond.

About Black Mothers in Power
Black Mothers in Power seeks to eradicate racial health disparities for Black birthing people and Black babies throughout Delaware. BMIP envisions a state where all Black birthing people are informed about their birthing rights, have autonomy over their reproductive decisions, and are treated equitably in the healthcare system.
