Join BMIP and The Wilmington Freedom Alliance for the 4th annual Black Mamas Bail Out!

Black Mothers in Power (BMIP) & Wilmington Freedom Alliance (WFA) will raise money to bail out Black mamas & Black Trans women for Mother's Day and throughout the year. 100% of the funds will be used for bail.

  • 67% of incarcerated people in the U.S. are in pretrial detention and have not been convicted of a crime.

  • 66% of women in pretrial detention are losing precious time with their minor children at home, simply because they cannot afford bail.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 by Sunday, May 12th, 2024. The fundraiser officially ends Sunday, May 19th, 2024.

100% of the donation funds will be used to make bail.
